He was predeceased by : his parents, Hassel Daniel Hicks and Evelyn Thomas Hicks; his wife Mary Lynette Puckett Hicks; his daughter Jennifer Hicks Potter; and his half-brother Dennis Thomas.
He is survived by : his son Jeremy Hicks (Amanda); and his brother Tim Hicks (Trish). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
