He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Rountree and Vivian Marie Lawson Rountree; his granddaughter Laura Hand; and his siblings, Odetta Perkins, Barbara Rose, Eddie Rountree, Pete Rountree and Danny Ray Rountree.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Ellis Rountree of Rocky Face, GA.; his children, Teresa Rountree of Chatsworth, GA., Vicky Smith (Rick) of Marietta, GA. and Albert Rountree (Becky) of Varnell, GA.; and his siblings, Mae Tucker, Rosie Davis and Roger Dale Rountree of Williamsburg, KY.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends and two special "adopted" granddaughters.
