She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Winnie Mae Roberson; her husband Murrel Ray Childers; her former husband George Richard Reed; her sons, Richard "Ricky" Reed and Tim Reed; and her grandson Casey Childers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Geri (Geri Geren) and Wilma Shampo of Tunnel Hill; her siblings, Jerry Roberson of Arkansas, Winston (JoAnn Roberson) and Peggy Roberson of Ringgold; and her grandchildren, Christie, Mike Pritt, Brooke, David Green, Nathan Miles, Cindy, Gary Kirkland, Laura, Earl Childs, Christopher Reed, Amy and Zach England. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
