She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Tinson and Emma Lizzie Bryant Tinson; and her brother Jerold T. Tinson. She is survived by: her husband Hugh Shropshire of Rocky Face, Georgia; her children, Cecilia V. Shropshire of Nashville, Tennessee and Ricky E. Shropshire (Sharon) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; her siblings, Shirley A. Little (Edward), Bettye Langston of Ringgold, Marcella F. McDade (Fred) of Rocky Face, Effie Lyons (Eurskine) of Stockbridge, Georgia and Gerald Lee Tinson; and her sisters-in-law, Mary A. Tinson of Rocky Face, Glenda D. Thomas (Willie) and Paulette N. Bonds (Johnny) of Dalton, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Interment at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:00 P. M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Rachel Baptist Church, 332 Haig Mill Lake Road, Dalton, GA. 30720.
