She was predeceased by: her husband James Baker; her parents, Tonie Lofty and Ethel Lofty; and her sisters, Beatrice Smythers, Nancy Rogers and Stella Workman.
She is survived by: her children, Billy (Chasity Franks), James Smythers (Bobbie Smythers) of Dalton, Connie (Mark Lindsey), Martha (Ricky Kyle) and Barbara Joyner of West Virginia; and her siblings, Dan (Dovie Lofty), Bill (Judy Lofty) and Martha Franks of Dalton. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; almost 20 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
