He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Jahue Hasty and Velma Wimpy Hasty; and his siblings, Gene Hasty, Doug Hasty and Betty Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Hasty of Rocky Face; his daughters, Catrina (Greg Headrick), Stacey (Creed Wilson), Desma (Tom Bowers), Cindy (Jeff Johnson), Tina Nealy of Tunnel Hill and Jeaney Black Bond of Dalton; his sisters, Willie Hambright of Tunnel Hill, Agnes Harris of Dalton, Freda Scott of Chatsworth and Sybil Graham of Rossville; and his grandchildren, Jerimah Moore, Tiffany Casto, Stephanie Nealy, Andrew Nix, Levi Witt, Preston Witt, Emma Grace Witt and Charles Stanley. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
