He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Baxter and Esther Wood Baxter; his daughter Gail Bonifacious; his son-in-law Larry Kirkland; his brother James Baxter (Sally); and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Baxter, Ivan Masters and Cecil Knight.
He is survived by: his son Gary Baxter; his daughter-in-law Angie Baxter of Villanow; his daughter Gloria Baxter Kirkland of Rocky Face; his sister Doris Masters of Rocky Face; his grandchildren, Hannah Michelle Isenhower, Trish Isenhower, Robby Chappell, Shelley Chappell Voyles and Shane Bonifacious; and his great grandchildren, Asa, Kason, Josiah Isenhower and Gage Voyles.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Rocky Face Baptist Church Maintenance Fund, 1544 Railroad Street, Rocky Face, Ga 30740.
