It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vickie Nelson (Rocky Face, Georgia), who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Newberry and Frances Long Clowers; her sons, Raymond Keith and Charles Kendall Nelson; her brother Paul Newberry; her father-in-law Gus Nelson; and her sister-in-law Patricia Payne.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Nelson of Rocky Face; her children, Joshua Nelson of Rocky Face and Autumn (Nathan Blackwell) of Rocky Face; her grandchildren, Alana Dunagan (Joshua) of Rocky Face, Chelsey Nelson of Dalton and Tristan Lopez of Dalton; her sister Cynthia Shahan of Dalton; her mother-in-law Geraldine Nelson of Chatsworth; her sisters-in-law, Tywanna Osborne and Janet Morgan (Jason) of Cohutta; and her cousin Wanda Borror of Rocky Face.
