It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Smith Spriggs of Rome, Georgia, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walter Spriggs and Ida Mae Clonts Spriggs; his wife Martha Annetta Sims Spriggs; and his siblings, Bertha Whitfield, Betty Spriggs, Dorothy Gray, Glenda Nelson, Clara Pierson, George and Ernest Spriggs.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Spriggs Smith (Edward) of Rome, Gina Spriggs Magnicheri (Gene) of Rome, Vivica Spriggs Barnes of Rome, Tim Spriggs, Sr. (Ann) and Danny Spriggs (Betty Ann) of Cedar Bluff, AL; and his sister Charlotte Spriggs. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
