He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Bruce Wingo, Sr. and Maureen Swofford Wingo; and his siblings, Louise, Margaret, Sarah and James.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Porter Wingo; his close friend Steve Terry; his children, Kelly Samson, Buffy Wingo and Chuck Wingo; his grandchildren, Samantha Warner, Gabriel Warner, Isabella Warner, Gianna Warner, Angelica Warner, Gemma Warner and Rhiane Wingo; and his brother Roy Wingo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Masks and social distancing are mandatory for attendance due to the delicate health of some family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cancer Navigators of Rome, GA.
