It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Williams (Rome, Georgia), who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pryor Williams and Mildred Williams; and his sister Shirley Emerson. He is survived by: his children, Laura Williams Martin (David) and Charles Edward Williams, Jr. (Robin); his grandchildren, William Richard Dowdy (Lauren), Addie Ann Tanzi (Matt), Merritt Lee Williams, Lillie Anna Williams and Charles Edward Williams III; his great grandchildren, John Blake Dowdy and Gracie Belle Tanzi; and his spouse Granny.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Redmond Get Up & Go Parkinson's Group with special appreciation to their leader, Marge Kinder. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to The Charlie Williams Parkinson's Foundation.
