He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cohenour and Ida Robinson Cohenour; and his sister Chrisida Oldfield. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gail Garrett; his daughter Bobbie; his stepsons, Shane Wright (Stacey) of Rome and Sherman Wright (April) of Rome; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Shayna, Kaleb and Logan Wright. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the DAV Chapter #95 in Rome or to Rome Seventh Day Adventist Church.
