He is survived by: his wife Gale Avery McClarty; his parent Connie Chambers; his children, Kye Ray McClarty and Shainna McClarty; his grandchildren, Jaquan and Poppi McClarty; his aunt Janice Tinch; his uncles, Jarvis, James and Norman Tinch; his mother-in-law Arbie Avery; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Avery and Leonard Avery (Tracy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Following the guidelines of COVID-19, the family is enforcing that all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
