He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frank Gilreath and Helen Neal Gilreath; his wife Helen Beatrice Knowles Gilreath; his daughter Susan Gilreath Ashley; and his siblings, Patricia Abernathy, Donald Gilreath and Elbert Gilreath.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Mantooth (Michael), Angela Gilreath, Karen Mason, Diane White and Tim Odum-Knight (Wayne); his grandchildren, Justin Mantooth (Sierra), Austin Mantooth, Chassidy Mantooth, Jennifer Pilcher, Brandon Pilcher, Rhiana Wayland and Jackson Wayland; his great grandchild Jessilyn Mantooth; and his sister Cathy Gilreath. He is also survived by brother, Steve Gilreath, FL; nieces and nephews.
