She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Erwin Evans and Sidney Raymond Evans, Sr.; her brother Sidney Evans, Jr.; her granddaughter Elena Hope Avery; and her husband George Sanders Avery.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Avery Abrams of Peachtree City, Mark Sanders Avery of Rome and Matthew Patrick Avery of Rome; her grandchildren, Austin Sanders Avery, Evan Liverette Avery, Joshua Adrian Abrams, Luke Avery Abrams, Noah Calvin Avery, Grace Vivian Avery and Van Patrick Avery; and her niece Mara Hollomon Evans.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parnick Jennings Good Shepherd Funeral Service (2750 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
