He was predeceased by: his parents, Clabe Evans, Sr. and Rachel Bryan Evans; his brothers, Gene Evans Jr. and Clabe Evans Jr.; and his daughter Sharon Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Evans; his children, Martin Evans (Shelia Cain), David Evans and Lisa Evans Taylor (Sean); his brothers, Lewis Evans and Bobby Evans; his grandchildren, Mitchel Evans, Malory Evans, Walker Evans, Bethany Evans Ferreira, Charis Shipman, Evan Taylor and Jack Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Evans and Westley Shipman. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made in his memory to Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church, 702 Pleasant Valley Rd SE, Silver Creek, GA 30173.
