He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Morgan and Roy Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Alicia Hendrix Bennett; his children, Carol Norton (Merrill), Melody Harrison (Carter) and Jason Bennett; his grandchildren, Kelley O'Keeffe, Don Burkhalter and Bo Bennett; his great grandchildren, Kaylee, McKenzie and Braxton Burkhalter; his sister Rebecca Bond (Bob); and his nieces, Cindy Fred (Bob), Rachel and Emily Fred.
In lieu of flowers donations be made to Fellowship Baptist Church or cancer research.
