He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Edwin McDougald and Isabel Hall McDougald; his brothers, Donald Outland and William Worth McDougald; and his half-brothers, John Horace and Walter Edwin McDougald.
He is survived by: his wife Leeta Minton; his children, Michael Gregory McDougald (Deborah) of Nashville, TN and Elizabeth Ann McDougald of Greenville, NC; and his grandchildren, Michael Gregory McDougald Jr. of Tennessee, Stephen Thomas McDougald (Morgan) of Tennessee, Timothy Hall McDougald (Joanna) of Tennessee, Rebekah Ann Murnion (Jonathan) of Tennessee, Abigail Victoria McDougald of Tennessee, Jonathan Michael McDougald of Tennessee, Jacob Nathaniel McDougald of Tennessee, Matthew Jeremiah McDougald of Tennessee and Hannah Grace McDougald of Tennessee. He is also survived by Three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to be made to Rome First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or to the Rome History Museum.
