She was predeceased by: her parents, John Frank Vaughan and Gladys Florine Kite Vaughan; and her brother John Derwood Vaughan. She is survived by: her husband Bill Dempsey; her children, Lynn Peek (Carlton) and Michael Dempsey (Shana); her grandchildren, Patrick Peek (Sarah), Katie Lewis (Matt), Ben Peek, Megan Quaye-Sowah (Michael) and Joshua Dempsey; her great grandchildren, Davis Lewis, Oliva Peek, Owen Peek and Anna Ruth Peek; and her sister Martha McGrath. She is also survived by Nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
