She was predeceased by : her parents, John Coen Owens and Daisy Beall Owens; her husband N. E. "Teck" Milton; her brothers, Charles Owens (Estelle) and James Loyd Owens (Martha); and her sister-in-law Shirley Owens.

She is survived by : her daughter Reesa Milton (Fuad Khoury); her brother John Alton Owens; her sister-in-law Sara Milton of Titusville, FL; and her friend Ozella Graves. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
