It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sanford Leon O'Neal Sr. of Rome, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Carroll O'Neal, Sr. and Eula Eva James O'Neal; and his wife Patricia Ann Moore O'Neal. He is survived by: his close friend Ethel Ball; his children, Diane O'Neal Clonts (Glenn), Sanford Leon O'Neal, Jr. (Sari) and Michael Anthony Ball (Traci); and his grandchildren, Nathan Clonts (Taylor), Patrice Clonts, Michael Clonts (Rebecca), Christopher O'Neal (Marcy), Scott O'Neal (Misty), Mikaela Ball and Carson Bricker (Elizabeth). He is also survived by his 10 great grandchildren and 3 great greatgrandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Mr. O'Neal's memory.
