With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Jones Mehaffey of Rome, Georgia, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Glenn Jones and Fannie Gordon Jones; her husband James "Jim" Mehaffey; and her siblings, Glenn Jones, Timothy Jones and Joann Hooper.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Goldin (Hal) of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Jamey Goldin (Julie) of Charleston, SC, Lauren Wood, Savannah and Matt Goldin of Beaufort, SC; her great grandchildren, Taylor, James and Georgia Goldin; and her sister Judy Swanson of Eugene, OR. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
