He was predeceased by: his parents, A. J. Bevels and Katie Ruth Henry Bevels; his wife Nancy Hatch Bevels; and his siblings, Lora Elizabeth Bevels Reynolds, Edward and Don Earl Bevels.
He is survived by: his sons, Ken and Kenneth Bevels of Atlanta; and also, Cliff and Frances Hatch. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends.
