He was predeceased by : his parents, Loyd Akin and Juanita Akin. He is survived by : his children, Charles Akin-Vorst (Brian), Amanda Akin Bethea (John), Caleb Akin (Renee) and Jennifer Raymond (Jason); his grandchildren, Katelynn Mobley, Dalton Mobley, Amelia Akin, Lorelei Akin and Jase Raymond; and his siblings, Peggy Smith (Preston) and Mike Akin (Rita). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great friends.
