She was predeceased by: her husband Harold D. Baker; her parents, Young Monroe Thomas and Ruby Jane Thomas; and her brothers, Bobby Thomas and Junior Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Baker (Sue) and Connie Stickford; her grandchildren, Chris Baker (Lanae), Bret Baker (Amanda) and Kendra Donahoo (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Jackson Baker, Nash Baker, Millie Baker, Lottie Baker, Izzy Donahoo and Issac Donahoo; and her siblings, Alfred "Chink" Thomas, Dot Hicks, Melba Clift and Shirley Oliver (Fred). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or American Heart Association.
