With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clayton Alton Butler of Rossville, Georgia, born in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, who passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parent Lois Alton Butler; and his brothers, Carl Butler and Jerry Butler. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Barrett Butler; his son Ronnie Butler; his sisters, Joyce Allen (Bill) and Wilma McNabe (Margie Simmons); his grandson Jacob Bulter; and his close friends, Mike Cheney and Dewayne Teague. He is also survived by numerous extended family & friends.

“Clayton Butler and I clicked. Mr. Butler had a mannerism about him not many understood, I loved him like a father. A true Car man. And an amazing mechanic. Over our 30 year relationship he taught me so much. He was a friend a guy could count on. My Wife Jennifer & I will miss you dearly. He had a heart of Gold not many people knew about. His passing has left a large void in this life. And the world is certainly lesser without him. R.I.P. MY FRIEND.”
