It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Joyce Shrum McAlpin (Rossville, Georgia), who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Shrum and Bertha Shrum; and her siblings, Kenneth Shrum, Johnny Shrum, Lillie McClanahan and Ruby Payne.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie McCain (Rodney) and Johnny McAlpin (Rachel); her grandchildren, Leah McCain, Tyler McAlpin, Kailey McAlpin, Layla Tatum, Ethan Akins, Chloe Akins and Tanner Akins; her great grandchildren, Aubrie McCain, Gypsy McAlpin and Waylon Burress; her siblings, Frances Hardin (Bob), Wanda Shumaker, Faye Patterson (Tommy), Benny Shrum (Vi) and Bobby Shrum (Agnes); and her close friend Sharon Cook. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
