She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Stauford Grant and Theodosia Matilda Grier-Grant; and her husband Lincoln Lloyd Sutherland of Jamaica. She is survived by: her children, Sonia Sutherland-Cruz (Frank Cruz) of Woodstock, Georgia, Michele Sutherland-Johnson (Cortez Johnson) of Memphis, Tennessee and Paul M. Sutherland of Lawrenceville; and her grandsons, Frank Cruz, Jeffrey Cruz, Christopher Johnson and Blake Johnson. She is also survived by one great-grandchild and many friends.
