He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Wilson and Kathleen Wilson; and his brothers, Randall and Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Julia (Georgia); his children, Jeff (Donna Wilson), Alana (Ken Juneau) and Shannon (Jeff Fritschi); and his grandchildren, Savannah, Kyle, Cydney Wilson, Tony, Carol Juneau, Clayton and Tanner Fritschi.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org), in honor of his courageous fight these past few years.
