He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Steltenpohl and Rose Steltenpohl; his wife Jeanne Buzek Stelten; his sister Myra McKnight; his son John Stelten; and his grandson Jeffrey Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, James Stelten (Gretchen) of Harrisonburg, VA, Sue Shaw of Sandy Springs, GA, Lynn Cherpak (Al) of Lawrenceville, GA, Nancy Jackson (Wayne) of Sandy Springs, GA and Will Stelten (Erica) of Decatur, GA; his grandchildren, Andy Stelten, Mike Stelten, Mark Stelten, Carla Lutin, Brittany Burnett, John Gortney, Ross Gortney, Allison Gibbs, Bryan Jackson, Jenna Bieler, Kevin Jackson, Vander Stelten, Drew Stelten and Cade Stelten; and his great grandchildren, Hiatt Burnett, Sutton Burnett, Jake Gibbs, Shepherd Gibbs, Collins Gibbs, James Stelten and Cooper Jackson. He is also survived by six children, fifteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
