Gloria Jean Lewis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Lewis (Roswell, Georgia), born in Paragould, Arkansas, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton Lewis, MD; her parents, Jesse Hickey and Bessie Hickey; her sons, Charles Daniel, Thomas David and Philip Simon Poppelreiter; and her stepson David J. Lewis.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Eric Poppelreiter, Brian Poppelreiter, Mary Light, Erin Dreiling, Julia Holst, Jeanette Poppelreiter, Crystal Sudduth, Barbara Taylor and Tim Shea. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

After resigning from SFCC, Lewis served on the SFCC Foundation Board.
