It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Gregory Painter (Roswell, Georgia), who passed away on April 16, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elizabeth Walls Painter and Clarence Painter; his wife Crystal Whitney Painter; his children, Steven Craig Duke (Lori) of Kansas City, MO and Lindsay Norman (Hayne) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Taylor, Matthew, Zachary, Ryan Duke and Grayson Norman; his great grandchild Kaden Peoples; and his siblings, Dick Painter of Kansas City, KS and Katheryn Mantooth of Kansas City, KS. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19, memorial services will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his name be made to the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center, 1500 East Duarte Road, Duarte, CA 91010.
