It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kirby Sims Sr. of Roswell, Georgia, who passed away on December 3, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hartwell Sims, Jr. and Barbara Kirby Sims; his wife Patricia Sherer Sims; and his sister Vivian Sims Funderburk. He is survived by: his son Kirby Powell Sims, Jr. (Stephanie); his granddaughters, Laura, Sarah and Kate Sims; his stepson Ted Hurt Huckabee (Kendra); his grandchildren, Skylar and Hanna Huckabee; and his brother Charles Hartwell Sims, III (Anita).
