She was predeceased by: her parents, Burnetta McAlpin Lutz and Howard Luther Long; and her husband Joseph B. Miller. She is survived by: her sister Jill Courtney; her niece Sandra Noel; her daughters, Chris M. Thomason, Amy J. Miller and Patty M. Ivey; and her sister Jacqueline Shanteau. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
