He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson Morris and Benita Rogers Morris; his former wife Gladys McHugh Emmett; and his siblings, Betty Youngblood, Alice Monroe and Lewis B. Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Benita Watkins (Ricky), Mary Lou Garner, Jean Greenway (Crawford) and Jeff Morris (Beverly); his wife Frances Watts Morris; his stepchildren, Vickie Merritt, Rita Sikes, Dennis Roberts (Debbie) and Leisa Jackson (Perry); and his brother Alton Morris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
