With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Thrift (Saint George, Georgia), born in Sanderson, Florida, who passed away on December 27, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Charney Johns and Effie Johns; the father of her children Alfred Thrift; her daughter-in-law Brenda Thrift; and her siblings, Pauline, Agnes Johns, Claude, Clyde Johns and Lawrence Dugger.
She is survived by : her husband Earl Parish of St. George, GA; her sons, Felton Thrift of St. George, GA and Dr. Frederick Thrift (Barbara) of Lexington, KY; and her grandchildren, Tina Bradley (Mike) of St. George, GA, Tami Brown of Jacksonville, FL, Dr. Todd Thrift (Dayla) of Gainesville, FL and Kristi Seuch (Kelly).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Baker County Education Foundation.
