We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2020, at the age of 97, Beatrice Dismer of Saint Simons Island, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Arvilla Hauck Burke and Walter Joseph Burke; and her siblings, Joan, Joseph Alan and Walter Burke.
She is survived by : her husband William Edward Dismer; her stepchildren, William Blaise Dismer of Porto, Portugal (Martha), Joan Dismer Childs of Gray, Jeanne Elizabeth Dismer of St. Simon's Island, Terri Dismer Bickley of St. Simon's Island and Erika Dismer Doster of Augusta; her siblings, Margaret Mary Burke White (Peg) of Atlanta and William Martin Burke (Connie) of St. Simon's Island; and her great grandchildren, Meg Dismer of New Zealand, Zachary Dismer of St. Simon's Island, John Childs, III of St. Simon's Island, Ashton, Ansley, Capers, Walker Childs of Hoschton, Elizabeth Childs Coutu of Sandy Springs, Wesley Childs of Macon, Benjamin Childs of Macon, Burke Murph, III of Marshallville, Beth Ann Murphy Lane of Perry, Olivia Neal of St. Simon's Island and Anna Doster of Augusta, Georgia.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, as well as 11 grandchildren.
