He is survived by : his wife Hope Eidson McGhee of Sale City; his children, John McGhee (Julie) of Sale City, Ben McGhee of Sanford, FL, Jacob McGhee of Sanford, FL, Seth McGhee (Coralys) of Sanford, FL, Enoch McGhee of Sanford, FL, Travis Beckwith of Sale City, Elijah Beckwith of Sale City and Jolee McGhee of Sale City; his siblings, Calvin McGhee (Vicky) of Altoona, FL, Greg McGhee (Helene) of Sale City and Rita Roland (James) of Sale City; and his grandchildren, Kayla Jones, Jasmine Jones, Bobby McGhee and Isabella McGhee.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home (410 E Broad St, Camilla, GA 31730). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
