She was predeceased by: her former husband Forace Avant; her brother Frank Norris; and her nephew Robbie Parham. She is survived by: her husband John Yongue of Sandersville; her children, Anita Avant Pittman (Drew), Cliff Avant (Allison), Pam Avant Boyd (Chris) and Margie Yongue Varin (Bryan); her grandchildren, Bradley Pittman, John Wesley Pittman, Tommy Pittman, Faith Poole, Forace Avant, Wright Avant, Emily Terrell, Heath Boyd and Emmitt Varin; her great grandchildren, Jackson Pittman, Paxton Pittman, Adeline Poole, Samuel Poole, Sadie Terrell and Jaden Terrell; and her siblings, David Norris of Ivey and Juanita Parham.
The family suggest donations be made to Olive Hill Baptist Church, 1117 Adams Road, Sandersville, Georgia 31082.
