It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Turner (Sandersville, Georgia), who passed away on June 9, 2018, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Pete and Gordon C. Turner; and her daughter Barbara Ann Newsome Nealy. She is survived by: her parents, Frank Chambers and Lamar Albea Chambers; her son Glenn Newsome; and her grandchildren, Deas Nealy, Barton Nealy, Brannen Nealy, Jonathan Newsome, Lauren Newsome Bush, Benjamin Newsome and Patrick Newsome. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
