It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Edward Welch (Sandersville, Georgia), who passed away on March 13, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys R. Welch and Lois Frazier Welch; his former wife Joyce Smith Welch; his sister Francine W. Wicker; and his nephew Wilbur Williford.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte H. Prosser Welch; his stepson Steven Prosser (Marie); and his grandsons, Joshua Prosser of North Carolina and Benjamin Prosser of North Carolina. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
