He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son William Anthony Middlebrooks; his siblings, Virgie Collins (Herman), Eleanor Dell (Roosevelt), Elizabeth Haynes (Michael), Mary, Coleman, Shirley Dill, Georgia, Yvonne McClendon, Johnny Middlebrooks, Randolph Middlebrooks (Iris) and Alvin Middlebrooks; and his grandchild Damar Middlebrooks. He was also cherished by several other relatives and friends.
