He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Clay Welch and Nolie Poole Welch; his sister Nellie W. Alligood; and his in-laws, George and Dorothy Hauesler.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Hauesler Welch; his sons, Andy Welch (Taylor) of Sandersville and Charlie Welch of Sandersville; his grandchildren, Mason Welch of Will Welch, C. H and Chrislynn Helton; his sisters, Harriett Cowart (Tommy) and Beryl McNeely; his siblings-in-law, Al Alligood and Jenny Webb (Dennis); and his adoptive daughters, Keisha Reeves and Katrina Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the May and Smith Funeral Directors (1119 Riddleville Rd, Sandersville, GA 31082). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the White Oak Church (8578 Tree Nursery Rd, Avera, GA 30803).
The family suggests donations be made in Mr. Welch's memory to White Oak Church, 8578 Tree Nursery Road, Davisboro, GA 31018.
