It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pelham Leveart Braswell (Sandersville, Georgia), born in Davisboro, Georgia, who passed away on October 15, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Braswell and Annie Braswell; his wives, Patsy and Lillie; and his siblings, Daitha, Cleo and Comer.
He is survived by: his children, Tommie Merritt (Bill), Barbara Harris (Willie Bob), Harriet Williams (Larry Bruce), Jeanette Warner, Sandra Braswell, Delores Bloodsaw-Nelson (Zachary) and Darryl Fort (Diane); his stepchild Daniel "Dickey"; his brother Robert Mitchell (Jacqueline); and his friend Leila Braswell Butts. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fourteen step grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and ten step great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren.
