He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Terrell Wells and Hilda Williams Wells; his brother Carlton Wayne Wells; and his great grandchild Madyson Tribble. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cyrus Wells; his daughters, Renny W. Lindsey (Harry) of Riddleville, Cathy W. LaCourse of Gray and Tina Pratt (Tom) of Toccoa; his grandchildren, Ryan Tribble (Crystal) of Harrison, Matt Tribble (Michelle) of Tennille, Ashlee Farmer (Eric) of Harrison, Brent LaCourse (Melissa Howard) of Gray, Rebecca LaCourse of Gray, Joni Bray (Quentin) of Eastanollee and Jenny Braden of Knoxville, TN; and his sibling's children, Kim Bell (Mike) of Lynchburg, VA and David Wells (Sonya) of Los Gatos, CA..
