With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tony Bussell (Sandersville, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Luther Bussell and Mary Evelyn Hanie Bussell; and his sister Tracy Bussell Davis. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Thompson Bussell; his sons, Jospeh Bussell of Milledgeville, Thomas Reynolds (Laura) of Grovetown, Timothy Reynolds (Sara) of Sandersville and Tyler Reynolds (Payton) of Eatonton; his grandchildren, Abby Bussell, Mason Bussell, Elliot Reynolds, Ella Grace Reynolds, Emmitt Reynolds and Hollie Reynolds; and his brother Steve Bussell (Belinda) of Tennille.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Kendall Heights Church of God, 829 Jordan Mill Road, Sandersville, GA 31082, http://www.kendallheightscog.org ; or to the Gideons, P.O. Box 891, Sandersville, GA 31082.

“Elaine and Family, Tony was not only my supervisor, but he was my friend and we continued to be friends after his retirement. He was there for me in some dark times and we had good times in the office as well. Me, him, and Derek were quite the trio. I'm so thankful we kept in touch and I was able to speak with him not long ago during his good days. That was the Tony I will remember. He was a good man, good boss, and great friend!
