It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wyda McDougal (Sandersville, Georgia), who passed away on February 25, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son James Edward McDougal; her granddaughter Alaa Jeanette Walker; and her siblings, John Willie Johnson, Bessie Mae Cummings, Gladys Burpo and Louvenia Dailey.
She is survived by: her children, Alaa Walker, Shali Walker, Raymond Louis McDougal, Roland McDougal (Diane), Gwendolyn Mines and Joyce Rawlins (Wayne); her siblings, John Andrew Johnson Jr. (June), Samuel Johnson and Katie Rea King; and her grandchildren, Charles, Jason Mines, Jacqueline, Elliot McDougal, Antonio Davis (Tamantha), Rashaun, Krystal, Roland (Antoinette), Danielle McDougal and Shali Hudson (DeAngelo). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, church family, relatives, and friends.
Her favorite song to sing was, "Satisfied With Jesus." Before Wyda developed Alzheimer's disease, she enjoyed cooking, church and family gatherings, traveling, laughing, and talking with her siblings.
