She was predeceased by : her parents, William Robert Stephens and Mincie Dora Moon Stephens; her husband Eugene Houghton; and her brothers, Charles William Stephens and Tony Alan Stephens.

She is survived by : her siblings, Cindy Reno (Larry) of Fayetteville, Robert H. Stephens (Jean) of Alto and Dean Stephens of Stockbridge; her nieces and nephews, Kelly Rodgers, Clint Reynolds, Cheryl Clever (Tim), Patrick Stephens, Kristi Pinson (Vince), Larry Stephens, Tammy Bell and Kim Stephens; and her sister-in-law Lina Stephens of Hampton, Georgia..
