He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Thomas and Pearl Lee McElreath Jones; and his son Nicholas Jones. He is survived by : his wife Christie Jones; his children, Axel Jones of Sautee, Adrail Jones of Sautee, Jonathan (Nikki Jones), Cleveland and Melanie; his son-in-law Christopher Sims; his grandchildren, Eli Sims, Emery Sims, Emmet Sims, Evan Sims, Elsie Sims, Falyn Jones and Tucker Jones; and his siblings, Douglas (Martha Pardue Jones), Cleveland and Betty Ann Partin.
