He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Laura Loggins Grizzle; and his siblings, Cecil, Paul Grizzle, Edith Sims, Clarabell Underwood, Eulene Grizzle and Doris Hubbard.
He is survived by: his daughter Petra Bowser of Savannah; his brother Henry Grizzle; and his siblings-in-law, June Grizzle, Mary Nell White, Billy and Genie Whelchel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
